We set up our first study group this semester, which is on Quantum Machine Learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We met at 18:15 on every Thursday (from February to mid-May) in Auditorium 16 at the Faculty of Computing of the University of Latvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seminar on introduction to quantum programming
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Autumn 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this seminar course, we have prepared and used our first pedagogical material called Bronze for introducing the basics of quantum programming and quantum computation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading group on quantum machine learning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Summer 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We met six times (July 12, 19, 27 and August 10, 17,24) during summer 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We read the paper “Quantum machine learning for data scientists<\/a><\/em>” by Dawid Kopczyk. The paper has nine sections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had three leaders. Andis Draguns<\/strong> presented five sections. Romans Dinuls<\/strong> and Mat\u012bss Apinis<\/strong> presented two sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
